Hello friends!
It’s Dubraska, and I’m so glad you’re here!
I’m one of the 5 gals at Women Who, known as the Creative muse, and most times, as your photographer hype girl. I’m the youngest of three sisters, born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. My family and I eventually moved to Miami for a better future when I was 11 years old, and Miami has been home ever since. I’m probably considered a Miami girl at this point, right?
There’s a saying the goes: “you are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with” and I can say Janelle, Annie, Brittani and Andrea have become my main 4. They are the friends I didn’t know I needed and prayed for! We all need a dynamic four like these girls in our lives. It’s an honor to be part of Women Who, and now you’re a part of it too!
If you know me, you know I’m a lover of connecting with people and learning about their stories, which explains why story telling through the lens is one of my favorite things to do. Besides photography, you’ll find me catching sunrises or sunsets at the beach any chance I get with a book in hand, or recording podcast episodes along with my co-host and bestie Andrea.
I’m a lover of spontaneous plans and adventures. I always find the idea of meeting new people and having meaningful connections exciting, so basically, I’m always saying yes to spontaneous trips, and fun plans with friends. Oh, I’m also an expert at cracking terrible dad jokes, that somehow my friends find funny, so I guess that won’t stop for a while, (sorry not sorry) haha!
Ever since I can remember, I was always captivated by the world of art. I’d lose myself in the flow of dancing, sketching/painting, and later on Photography. At the age of 15 I held a camera and felt love for Photography for the first time by photographing friends and family. By the time I was 19, I became a wedding photographer, and immersed myself in telling unique love stories through the lens.
As I’ve gotten older, I realized how much I value connecting with others not only in a personal level, but also in being able to bring their ideas to life and tell their story in a creative way, which has led me to lean more into fashion, branding and lifestyle photography. My biggest desire is to help others see the beauty within themselves and showcase the importance in making people feel seen and comfortable in their most authentic way in front of a camera regardless of their experiences, or background.
For me, it’s more than just capturing images, it’s about creating meaningful experiences and telling stories. I believe my calling is to celebrate the uniqueness and beauty of each person I’m able to photograph, develop genuine connections, and empower others to embrace their own beauty inside and out. Whether it is a lifestyle, fashion, or a branding shoot, there is a uniqueness to each photo session.
On Women Who, I’ll provide resources such as posing guides to help others feel at ease and express themselves in their most authentic way, to chat about all things creativity, how to plan your next photoshoot, create moodboards, location/model scouting, test shoots, how to dive into your passions, or just simply connect and chat overall!
If you want to create, and bring ideas to life, I’m your gal!
Can’t wait to connect with you!
