Hey girls! I’m Andrea, the oldest of the pack and standing tall at 5 foot 1. I have been a wedding photographer for over 10 years and it has been the most beautiful rollercoaster ride of all. I’ll also be your unofficial Maid of Honor and what sometimes feels like the Fairy Godmother.
As you can imagine, I’m a hopeful romantic who loves capturing wedding days. Each wedding tells the story of two people who have found each other and chosen to love through thick and thin.
But there’s so much more to me than just the title of Wedding Photographer. I’m also a nerd at heart, originally going to school for meteorology. I absolutely love anything related to science and the weather. You’ll catch me chasing sunsets in the middle of nowhere, star gazing on a chilly night out mudding, or timelapsing a storm as it rolls in. In all honesty, I live in Miami and I’m not sure why, I truly am a country girl at heart.
As an only child growing up, I always prayed to have a little sister. Luckily, our God is a God that exceeds our expectations in a way that is surprising and unexpected. He has given me the best “little” sisters I could’ve ever prayed for, although we may not actually be related we share the blood of Jesus and that makes us sisters. We have prayed together, laughed together, cried together, but most importantly cheered each other on and encouraged one another as we grow and find ourselves in who God has called each one of us to be.
My faith has also been quite a journey. Growing up in the church, I believed in God, Jesus and the Bible, but sometimes you believe because your parents have believed it and it’s been instilled upon you. I turned 30 in 2018 and hit a wall, I realized I didn’t know who Andrea truly was. I was surrounded by people but I felt more alone than ever, and that was a personal and internal struggle.
The weekend after my birthday, Janelle (Made 2 Mother), invited me to her baptism at a church I had never been to and the message pierced my soul. At that moment I realized I was taking a stand for my faith as an adult and was making the decision to not go backwards again. This is a date you’ll notice I wear as a tattoo in my arm to remind myself constantly of what Jesus has done for me.
Fast forward to 2024, and Women Who is the result of many prayers and God connecting me with women who share the same vision. I’ll be your unofficial Maid of Honor, guiding you through singleness and your journey to becoming a bride. I’ll share heartfelt stories and tips to make wedding planning enjoyable for you and your fiancé.
As an extroverted-introvert and true foodie, and only child I cherish my alone time. When I need to recharge, you’ll find me cooking up a storm in the kitchen. I cook because it comes naturally and helps me relax and unplug. It’s also how Brittani and I have bonded, along with car rides and deep conversations.
You will not only hear from me in the areas of relationships but I’ll also jump into each category for support. I will share recipes with Brittani, photography tips with Dubraska and Janelle, and marketing strategies with Annie.
I can’t wait to share my heart and some pretty photos with y’all!
