St. Dalfour Peach Galette for Emily in Paris Collaboration and Watch Party

Sometimes, the best way to spend a Saturday morning is with your closest friends, some good food, and a little French flair. That’s exactly what we did when St. Dalfour asked us to collaborate with them for the launch of their Emily in Paris x St. Dalfour Limited Edition Gift Set. The five of us gathered for a Parisian-inspired brunch, complete with a binge-watching session and outfits inspired by the show’s characters. What started as a fun idea turned into a morning filled with laughter, delicious food, and those Parisian vibes we all love.

Bringing France to Our Brunch Table – Emily in Paris style

We wanted our brunch to feel like a little escape to France, right in Miami. Naturally, we grabbed St. Dalfour’s all-natural fruit spreads to create a sweet and savory spread (you can find these at Publix). These 100% fruit preserves were the stars of our table, and we used them in every dish!

To start, we made a large, shareable peach galette. Buttery puff pastry, caramelized peaches with St. Dalfour peach jam, and a sprinkle of cinnamon made the perfect centerpiece. As it baked, the scent filled the kitchen, and we knew it was something special.

Our Galette: The Star of the Show

The galette was as much a work of art as it was delicious. With its rustic edges and golden crust, it was the perfect mix of elegance and simplicity. We served it up family-style, slicing it into generous pieces for everyone to enjoy.

The combination of buttery puff pastry, fresh peaches, and that rich, fruity sweetness from the St. Dalfour peach jam made each bite a little taste of Paris. Paired with a French-pressed coffee and good conversation, it was the highlight of our brunch. And let’s be real—there’s something about cutting into a large, beautiful dessert with friends that makes the moment feel even more special.

French-Inspired Brunch Delights

Along with our galette, we set out a simple, yet sophisticated, brunch spread featuring classic French-inspired bites. Think flaky croissants, assorted cheeses, fresh fruit, and more of those heavenly St. Dalfour spreads. From Orange Marmalade to Four Fruits, we had every flavor on display. They were the perfect accompaniment to everything on the table.

Whether we were spreading jam on croissants or adding a dollop of strawberry spread to our gluten-free muffins, the flavors brought a touch of Paris to each plate.

The Perfect Parisian Mocktail

What’s brunch without a signature drink? We also experimented with creating a mocktail using St. Dalfour’s Four Fruit fruit spreads. The fruity sweetness added a fun twist to our drinks, making them feel light and refreshing, perfect for a late-morning gathering.

We’re excited to share the recipe for this mocktail on our social media soon. Whether you’re hosting a brunch, a girls’ night, or just want a fancy mocktail for yourself, this recipe is a must-try.

Brunch, Friends, and Emily in Paris

Once the food was ready and our plates were filled, we settled in to binge-watch Emily in Paris. We laughed, admired Emily’s bold fashion choices, and even debated whether we’d move to Paris ourselves (spoiler: we all said yes!). It was a relaxing, fun-filled morning where the food and friendship made everything feel a little more special.

The combination of a big, shareable galette and the Emily in Paris vibes made for the perfect brunch gathering. With every bite and every scene we watched, it felt like we’d brought a piece of France into our lives—even if just for a few hours.

Stay Tuned for More!

We’ll be sharing our brunch recipes, including that delicious mocktail, on our social media and in a blog post soon. We can’t wait for you to try it all and bring a little Parisian flair to your own gatherings. Stay tuned for more delicious ideas. Until then—grab your favorite St. Dalfour fruit spread and plan your next brunch with your besties.

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe peaches sliced
  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp St. Dalfour Heritage Peach Jam
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1-2 tbsp sugar optional, for added sweetness
  • 1 egg for egg wash
  • Flour for dusting

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Prepare the puff pastry: On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry sheet into a rough circle or rectangle (about 12 inches wide). Transfer it onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • Sauté the peaches: In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the sliced peaches and sauté for 3-5 minutes until they start to soften. Stir in the St. Dalfour Heritage Peach Jam and sprinkle with cinnamon. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, letting the peaches caramelize slightly. Taste and add sugar if needed for extra sweetness.
  • Layer the pastry: Spread the sautéed peach mixture evenly over the center of the puff pastry, leaving about a 2-inch border around the edges.
  • Fold the edges: Gently fold the edges of the puff pastry over the outer edges of the peaches, creating a rustic border around the fruit.
  • Egg wash: In a small bowl, beat the egg and lightly brush the folded edges of the puff pastry to give it a golden finish during baking.
  • Bake: Place the galette in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and crisp.
  • Serve: Let the galette cool for about 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm, optionally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
